Blessing of Pets and other Animals

On October4, Friday, at 12:45 pm in front of the church. We invite everyone and inivite them to bring their pets for a blessing ceremony.
October 4 is the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, and a popular celebration is the Blessing of Animals. We ask for God's blessings for the animals that are part of our lives. We also ask God for the blessing of those who care for animals.
May we always appreciate all of creation and never take for granted the beauty of God's gifts.

First Friday Adoration ~ October 4th

FIRST FRIDAY ADORATION has been set aside so we can spend time with the Blessed Sacrament. As Catholics, we know Christ himself is with us when the Holy Eucharist is placed in a monstrance and left on the altar for our adoration and worship. It is a great privilege and blessing to be able to adore the Blessed Sacrament, however, Jesus must never be left exposed upon the altar without anyone in attendance. So, please find the time, and set aside 30 minutes or more, the first Friday of each month. Stop in and visit with our Lord. You will truly enjoy the visit. The Blessed Sacrament will be on display between 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at St. Anthony,Mount Shasta .
Come when you can spend as much time as you like. And remember those precious words:Could you not spend one hour in prayer with me?
