Church Security

Last year we initiated church security training at St. Anthony and St. Joseph Parishes. Ideally, we would like indivuals with medical and first responder backgrounds as key personnel, however, it is incumbent upon all of us to be aware of secu-rity protocols in our parish especially in light of current events taking place nationwide and some in very small communities.
On Jan 14th at 7PM we will have a Security Training in the church and will examine a series of possible scenarios. Not everyone who participates in this training is expected to take an active role, however, anyone who does attend, will then have an understanding of what to expect in the event of a compro-mising situation or crisis.
I will hold the training to one hour. Please consider attending. If you have any questions, please call:
(530) 604-4155.
Sincerely,
Deacon Ed.

St. Vincent de Paul Needs: Hamburger Helper & Canned Beans

Each week the St. Vincent de Paul Society distributes food to the needy. To supplement every first Sunday, the SVDP food collection replenishes the food bank each week by letting you know what item or items to add to your grocery list. This is to contribute in feeding the hungry through the community food bank run by our St. Vincent de Paul Society.
St. Joseph's Church has joined the food drive and shall be collecting the same NON-PERISHABLE food items each week. There is a box in the vestibule for these items.
Please bring in: Hamburger Helper and canned beans….kidney beans, pinto beans, etc. (not green beans).
This week’s items are:
Hamburger Helper & Canned Beans
