St. Vincent de Paul Needs:

Each week the St. Vincent de Paul Society distributes food to the needy. To supplement every first Sunday, the SVDP food collection replenishes the food bank each week by letting you know what item or items to add to your grocery list. This is to contribute in feeding the hungry through the community food bank run by our St. Vincent de Paul Society.
St. Joseph's Church has joined the food drive and shall be collecting the same NON-PERISHABLE food items each week. There is a box in the vestibule for these items.
   For more information call (530)926-3061.

This week’s items are:
Ramen Noodles & Mac and Cheese

Walk for the Poor

The Society of St. Vincent dePaul is holding it’s fourth annual Walk for the Poor on Saturday, October 5th at 8:00 A.M. next to the Grocery Outlet and we would like to invite everyone strong enough to walk three miles to join us.
We would especially like to have strong individuals who feel they can carry a cross for one quarter of a mile to remind us of our “crosses to bear” and how lucky we are.
You can sign up to walk online at www.fopwalk.org (register to walk at an event near you) the name of the walk is the Holy Family Carry the Cross Walk; you can pledge donations there also.
All donations go directly to the poor in our community with no administration costs.
