Second Collection

Please be generous in this week's special collection, which supports the Catholic Campaign for Human Development. In the United States, one in six people live in poverty.
Through this collection you support programs that address the causes of poverty and provide a sustainable future for people across the country who struggle. In addition 25% of the funds we collect will remain in our diocese to fund local antipoverty projects.
Please prayerfully consider how you can support this collection and work on the margins.
For more information about the Catholic Campaign for Human Development, check out their website at: www.usccb.org/cchd/collection.

Annual Catholic Appeal Report

This Thanksgiving, as we reflect with gratitude for the many blessings God has given us, Catholics throughout our Diocese are invited to visit scd.org to view the 2019 Annual Catholic Appeal "Report of Gratitude." See how, together as Catholics, parishioners have made a real difference to our sisters and brothers in need.
This year, more than 261,000 individuals and families were helped by 17 Northern California charities that received funds from the Appeal. The 2019 Appeal is approaching $3.7 million in commitments so far.
Our parish receives 25% of any gift made by parishioners here. If you have not yet participated, prayerfully consider a donation. No contribution, no act of charity is ever too small or insignificant. Envelopes are available here at the parish, or donate online at scd.org.
